Dear colleague:

The 4th International Symposium of Aquatic Plant Biology (MACROPHYTE2026) will be held in Dali City, Yunnan Province, China from August 10 to 14, 2026. Taking advantage of the unique biodiversity resources of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, this conference builds a global interdisciplinary exchange platform for aquatic plant research. It focuses on aquatic plant conservation, fundamental research and integrated wetland application practices under the background of global change and human activities. We sincerely invite scholars from all over the world to gather in Dali to share cutting-edge research achievements and carry out international academic cooperation. Relevant conference arrangements and participation matters are hereby notified as follows:

Deadline for online registration: July 20, 2026.

Online registration is the primary channel for the conference via the link:

https://macrophyte2026.casconf.cn . Since the conference period coincides with Dali’s peak tourist season, participants are advised to complete registration and book accommodation as early as possible.

8. Abstract Submission and Presentation Requirements

Submission Deadline: July 20, 2026. Applications for oral presentations and posters will not be accepted after the deadline.

Abstract Length: 350 - 400 words (please refer to the Conference Abstract Template)

Oral Presentation: 15 - 20 minutes (including Q&A discussion)

Poster Size: 110 cm × 80 cm

The conference sets up a Graduate Forum with awards: First Prize (1 winner): RMB 1,000; Second Prize (3 winners): RMB 800 each

File Naming Rule: Name + Affiliation + Presentation Topic

Regular: RMB 1,500 per person

Student: RMB 1,000 per person (valid student ID shall be presented at on-site registration)

The conference falls during Dali’s peak summer tourist season, when hotel rooms are in short supply with rising rates. The conference secretariat has negotiated exclusive discounted accommodation for attendees. Room availability is limited. If you require assistance with hotel reservations, please contact conference staff and pay the accommodation fee to secure your booking by July 20.
