On the morning of November 13, the director Liu Hongkui, together with other four workers form Biotechnology Research Center of Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Sciences  came to visit Key Laboratory of Plant Germplasm Enhancement and Specialty Agriculture of WBG, CAS. Director Shao-Hua Li, deputy director Jinmin Fu and related group leaders made a warm welcome reception.  

At the forum, Shaohua Li extended a warm welcome and briefly introduced the development, scientific researchers and talents, and science education of WBG. Jinmin Fu made a detailed introduction of research work, scientific research conditions, team construction, management system, and operational mechanism of Key Laboratory and so on. Subsequently, director Liu Hongkui introduced the basic condition of  Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Sciences  and Biotechnology Research Center. Then, both sides introduced their research interests and ongoing research work, and conducted in-depth exchanges of issues, including research platform construction, talent team construction and evaluation mechanism. Director Liu mentioned that the Biotechnology Research Center was still under the adjustment and reconstruction, and the operation and management of Key Laboratory of Plant Germplasm Enhancement and Specialty Agriculture of WBG, CAS inspired her lot, hoping both sides can make further cooperation on the collection and evaluation of specialty agriculture germplasm resources, as well as excavations of functional active substance of medicinal plants. 

Latter, visitors from Biotechnology Research Center of Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Sciences also inspected Scientific Research Platforms, Chrysanthemum Garden, Aquatic Pant Grmplasm Repository, Actinidia Germplasm Repository, Herb Garden, Turfgrass Germplasm  Nursery and so on.
