On December 21th, Prof. LI Qingxiao from University of Hawaii at Manoa delivered an academic report entitled "proteomics applications in agricultural and environmental science” in Wuhan Botanical Garden. Director LI Shaohua attended this lecture.

Prof. LI Qingxiao systematically and comprehensively expounded the basic principles and methods of biological mass spectrometry-based proteomics research. Together with the specific cases, he succinctly analyzed proteomics applications in biodegradation, agricultural and environmental sciences. Professor Li shared his research results and further discussed key issues in the report, the teachers and students were deeply inspired by his profoundknowledge and modest virtue. 

Currently, Prof. LI Qingxiao focuses on environmental biochemistry and biotechnology with the goal to minimize the risks of pollutants and create high value products.
